Edinburgh Street Pastors was invited to patrol at the Royal Highland Show at the end of June this year. The bars and clubs are open to the young farmers and members until about 10pm. The Saturday team witnessed boisterous and mischievous groups of young ladies and gents. After the bars closed, the revellers danced until 2am in a nearby marquee. The mud underfoot and the powder paint bombing was a new experience for the Street Pastors. Luckily our uniforms are machine washable and were soon returned to their normal navy blue.
