North-East Division and the City Centre Policing Team in particular would like to say a huge congratulations to #AberdeenStreetPastors who have been awarded the Queens Award for Voluntary Services.

 

Aberdeen Street Pastors have been an important and much appreciated part of the City Centre for over 13 years and have played a pivotal role in the development of the night-time economy over that time, helping to create the safe and welcoming environment for which Aberdeen has become renowned.

Our Officers see at first hand the warmth, compassion and care which the Street Pastors provide and this award is a richly deserved recognition of the support provided to the wide community who use and enjoy the City Centre.
