Street Pastors are Christians and part of a local church, and are someone with a concern for society and their local community. They are willing to engage with people, whatever their perspective on life and wherever they hang out. They are happy to work in a team and in collaboration with other agencies and projects, both statutory and voluntary.

  • To be a Street Pastor you need to be over 18 (no upper limit).
  • A church member, leader, minister or attending regularly for a year.
  • Able to commit to our training programme of 12 day sessions over a year to 18 month period.
  • Able to volunteer a minimum of one night a month, usually from 10pm to around 4am, in a team of four.
