Ashford (Kent) Street Pastors

Street Pastors is about Christians rolling up their sleeves and getting involved in practically responding to the problems of crime and safety. They are like beacons on our streets and I want to see them shining brightly in every constituency.”

David Burrowes MP, Patron of Street Pastors

We are a group of Christians from different churches who go out to keep the community safe on Friday nights in Ashford. We stop and chat to anyone we meet, caring, listening and helping where appropriate, while supporting a peaceful presence on the night-time streets in our local community.

The Street Pastor patrols that we do are fairly well known but the Prayer Pastors support is perhaps less so. As a Christian organization, we rely heavily on prayer and our Prayer Pastors work is a vital part of each evening.

If you would like more information about becoming a Street Pastor or Prayer Pastor, please contact Lita on the telephone number below or email.
