Ashford Street Pastors is a volunteer-led charity dedicated to caring for, listening to, and helping people in our town—especially during the night-time hours when individuals can be at their most vulnerable. Our teams head out year-round, offering practical support, a non‑judgmental presence, and a friendly face to anyone who needs assistance.
Whether it’s helping someone get home safely, providing flip-flops or water, offering a listening ear during a difficult moment, or simply being a reassuring presence on our streets, every interaction is rooted in compassion and a desire to make Ashford a safer and kinder place.
As a charity, we rely entirely on the generosity of individuals, churches, local organisations, and charitable foundations. We do not receive government funding. This means that the continuation of our work depends on the financial support of people who believe in what we do.
Your donation enables us to:
Train new Street Pastors and Prayer Pastors.- Provide essential equipment such as first-aid supplies, radios, water, blankets, and flip-flops.
- Maintain safe and effective night‑time patrols.
- Deliver ongoing mentoring, support, and development for our volunteers.
- Cover basic operational costs that allow the initiative to run smoothly week after week.
