Congratulations to all our wonderful Street Pastors! Basingstoke Street Pastors was a finalist in the ‘Unsung Hero’ category at the ‘A Place to be Proud of’ Awards ceremony last night.

The programme read: ‘The Street Pastors are an amazing example of community spirit in action. This is a voluntary group who go out in all weathers and support the night time economy in Basingstoke.  Getting to know the community at weekends and on special occasions/events, offering a listening ear and a helping hand to those in need of support and a kind word. Using their free time to help make Basingstoke a safe, more caring town.’

Well done to each and every one of our fantastic volunteers – you are unsung heroes, and the love and dedication you pour into your role has been recognised by the Basingstoke community!

Receiving the award on behalf our of Street Pastors was Jenny D’Ambrosi – our Administrator, and Carina Croissant – a long serving Street Pastor.
