You can become a STREET PASTOR by joining our street team, patrolling the streets of the city on a Friday and Saturday night (from 10pm to around 3am). We welcome Christians of all denominations – one of the strengths of Street Pastors is the way in which it brings together followers of Jesus from all traditions and backgrounds. We ask for a commitment of one shift per month, and a willingness to undergo training and attend team meetings etc.
We will be running our short training course for new recruits again at the end of March, but if you’re thinking about getting involved, you don’t need to wait until then! The first stage of the process is to come out as an observer, which is a great way of finding out whether Street Pastors is for you. Whether you definitely want to join the team, or would just like to know more about what we do, please contact our Coordinator (details below).
You can download more information on joining our team here: Becoming a Street Pastor
You can become a SUPPORTER, praying for the ministry on a regular basis and generally supporting us in whatever ways you can. You will receive occasional updates on our work, as well as invitations to key events.
If you’d like to know more about getting involved, please contact our coordinator Dennis Pearson on 01225 858293 or via email at: email@example.com.
