Welcome to the Bexhill Street Pastors Website! We are part of an international team first pioneered in 2003, and Street Pastors continues to grow throughout the UK and across the world. We were first licensed in February 2012 and have been patrolling ever since, including their Response Pastors attending The Shoreham Air Disaster and Grenfell Tower. Street pastors are trained volunteers from local churches who we care about our community and serve generally in the night time economy, but at other times when they can help. We can usually be seen on patrol every Wednesday and Friday afternoon, supporting the students coming out of Bexhill Academy and then into the town. School holidays we usually are found in Egerton Park, where we help both students known to us and visiting families. We also do an evening duty on the second Saturday of the month both in Sidley and Bexhill town. We are led by our coordinator and we have support from local churches and community groups in partnership with the police, local council and other statutory agencies. If you are interested in finding out more about our work, or are interested in becoming a Street Pastor, please contact us using the details on this page.
