Bexhill Street Pastors
We are part of an international team first pioneered in 2003, and Street Pastors continues to grow throughout the UK and across the world.
We were first licensed in February 2012 and have been patrolling ever since, including their Response Pastors attending The Shoreham Air Disaster and Grenfell Tower.
Street pastors are trained volunteers from local churches who we care about our community and serve generally in the night time economy, but at other times when they can help.
We are usually on patrol from 8pm to 1am on a Friday night and 8pm to 12am every other Saturday, to care for, listen to and help people who are out on the street. Additionally,on the second Friday of the month we patrol from 12 midday to 4pm and twice per month from 6pm – 7pm in Sidley.
We are led by our coordinator and we have support from local churches and community groups in partnership with the police, local council and other statutory agencies.
