Every Saturday night, while Bristol is fast asleep, our Street Pastors are out on the cobbles from Harbourside to Park Street. We aren’t out there to judge or lecture; we are out there to care, listen, and help.
To the mums and dads: we know that no matter how old your kids get—whether they are 16 and navigating their first big nights out, or 25 and celebrating a promotion—you always wait up for that text saying, “I’m home safe.”
Our mission is to make sure that text always sends.
Every weekend, our volunteers encounter young people who just need a bit of looking after. Sometimes it’s a listening ear, a bottle of water, or a pair of flip-flops for sore feet. But often, it’s ensuring a vulnerable young woman gets home safely.
Just recently, our team stepped in when a young woman became separated from her friends, lost her phone, and was understandably distressed near the fountains. Our team stayed with her, wrapped her in a foil blanket to keep her warm, tracked down her friends, and waited by her side until they were safely in a licensed taxi heading home.
We look out for your children as if they were our own. Because to us, every young person out in Bristol deserves a safe night out and a safe journey home.
💙 Want to help us keep Bristol’s streets safe? We are a volunteer-led charity that relies entirely on your generosity. A small donation helps us buy water, medical supplies, flip-flops, and funds the vital training of our pastors.
