On 11th November 2017, street pastors joined teams to enter the annual quiz at St Martin in the Wood Church Centre, Chandler’s Ford to support Christian Aid. The quiz master was street pastor Adam Murton, and street pastor Elliot Grove was part of the winning team – beating 19 other teams. Over £1,000 was raised for Christian Aid.

Christian Aid strives to ensure that all people in the world can live in security, safety and with dignity in their homes and communities, and on a cherished planet. Very appropriate to Remembrance Day it had it’s origins in the need to alleviate the refugee crisis after the Second World War when millions of people in Europe, Asia and the Middle East had no homes – when they could not help themselves because there was no work for them. Similar to the plight of many today.
