Our intrepid team of three Street Pastors had a busy Saturday last week. They are the ones in the blue uniforms! It was just before Halloween, a payday weekend and the night where we get an extra hour when the clocks go back at 2am.  The town was buzzing with people who were up for a party and the team were kept occupied.  They were out on the street for just under 6 hours in total collecting 20 glass bottles from the street in that time.  They gave out 3 pairs of flip flops and 3 space blankets, accompanied 2 people to safety and had a chat with at least 16 people on the street.  We have since received the grateful thanks of a Mum whose daughter was one of those people helped by the Street Pastors.
