Congleton

Welcome

“Street Pastors is about Christians rolling up their sleeves and getting involved in practically responding to the problems of crime and safety. They are like beacons on our streets and I want to see them shining brightly in every constituency.”

David Burrowes, Patron of Ascension Trust

Street Pastors for Congleton Cheshire launched November 2013.

Street Pastors continues to grow throughout the UK and across the world.

Street pastors are trained volunteers from local churches and we care about our community.

Our patrols are usually 9 pm Saturday to 1 am Sunday or occasionally Friday 9 pm to 1 am Saturday to care for, listen to and help people who are out on the streets. Our Prayer Pastors pray for our Street Pastors whilst on duty, people in our town, the venues and staff.

We are led by a Management Team and liaise with Cheshire Police, Congleton Town Council and multiple agencies through Congleton Neighbourhood Partnership chaired by Cheshire East Council Community Development Officers.
