Cork Street Pastors started on 14th July 2012. We are a Christian inter-denominational initiative in Cork providing a team of volunteers on the city streets to care for, listen to and help anyone who is vulnerable or in need of assistance, in the night time economy.

Saturday is our normal duty night from the hours of 10.30pm to 4am.  This is extended to cover some special events such as Leaving Cert Results, St. Patrick’s night and part of UCC Freshers and RAG weeks.

Our purpose is to mobilise the church and provide an opportunity to contribute to the welfare of the community, that could well include members of their own families, neighbours, colleagues, friends, etc., by living out their faith in a very practical way.

Last but by no means least, if some Saturday night you are out and about in the city and you or someone you see, needs our help or perhaps someone just to hang with and listen for a while – please give us a call on 085 157 8747.  Otherwise, if you see us on the street, stop for a chat or give us a wave and say HI !
