Fife Street Pastors

Welcome to Fife Street Pastors! We are a group of committed Christians who are out as volunteers on the streets across Fife helping our community by listening, caring and helping those who we meet, giving practical help, a sometimes word of prayer and sharing our faith when asked about it. Our Street Pastors come from a number of local churches in Fife and we are always keen to speak to anyone interested in joining us. Fife Street Pastors is newly formed in 2021 by merging teams in Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, and Cowdenbeath and we have active patrols on the street in each of these areas.

Dunfermline: We are currently running evening patrols on a Saturday from 6.30pm until 10.30pm where we focus on the town centre pubs and nightlife. There is also a Saturday daytime patrol from 2pm till 4pm where we help the public when shopping and out for coffee and a chat.

Kirkcaldy: We are doing daytime patrols in the high street from 2pm till 4pm on Saturdays and hope to expand this to the evening when we can. We love being about the town centre area and seeing and chatting with people we meet there.

Cowdenbeath: We have afternoon and evening patrols, focused on helping local young people. We care for our older generation as well and keep in regular phone contact with those we have built up relationships with. Our Street Pastors are a well-established part of the community and well known at ‘The Clearing’ in the High Street where you can pop in for a chat.

Cowdenbeath, Lochgelly & Kelty (C.L.O.C.K)

We are part of a national team first pioneered in 2003, and Street Pastors continues to grow throughout the UK and across the world. CLOCK Street Pastors was launched in October 2014.

Street pastors are trained volunteers from local churches and we care about our community.
We will be on patrol from 7.00 pm to Midnight, on alternate Friday & Saturday nights.
We are there to care for, listen to and help people who are out on the streets.
We are led by our Management Team and we also have support from local churches in partnership with the police, local council and other statutory agencies.
