On Tuesday 11 November 2025 over the course of a few hours we were pleased to be able to join with a number of organisations taking part in the Public Safety Fair which was located in the town centre’s North End. We would like to thank Croydon BID for the invitation to contribute to this event.
We were alongside Croydon Age UK, Barclays Fraud & Safety Roadshow, Croydon Neighbourhood Watch, the London Fire Brigade, Trading Standards, and Cyber Safety teams and it is good to know that we are all contributing to making Croydon a little safer in various areas of day-to-day life.
It was good to engage with members of the public as well as the individuals from the various organisations represented at the fair, with special mention going to the members of the London Fire Brigade who turned up with a fire engine and with whom we had an interesting conversation about the risk that e-bikes present in the home environment, why they should never be stored in inside a home where people are resident and how difficult e-bike battery fires are to put out! 😲 Some of us went away with a handful of documents of useful information.
