We work closely with the local authority, the police and churches in the borough. We are careful not to behave in a way that could be called religious harassment, but if people want to talk about spiritual matters we are glad to try and answer their questions.

Funding and generosity in kind has been received from different churches and organisations in the area including Kingsdown Methodist Church, Ealing Trinity Methodist Circuit, St Peter’s Church Ealing, St Paul’s West Ealing, Fred Burley and Kamala Kasi of Lloyds Bank, Acton Green Church, Metropolitan Police (specifically for First Aid Training), Home Office, Danone, Ealing Bid, Bless Community Church, Donna Turner -Community Life Champion ASDA, Angie Bray MP and Joy Morrissey her assistant, Acton Baptist, St John’s Southall, St George’s Southall, Bethany Church Southall, Ealing Borough Church leaders, and small kindnesses in many ways to help us keep costs down. We are so very grateful to all.

Met-Logo“I’ve been working with Ealing Street Pastors since October 2009.  Their weekend patrols have helped many people in need. I’ve been very impressed by their commitment and positive approach to helping people from all communities.  I would encourage volunteers to get involved to help make Ealing a safer place.”

– Inspector Deane, Metropolitan Police

We have a great relationship with the Ealing Safer Neighbourhood team working in partnership with them in the night time economy.

“I am excited by various Christians providing practical help at night, where others might  fear to tread!”

– Dave Gatting, Pray Ealing

“The drop in incidents of crime and bad behaviour in areas where Ealing Street Pastors patrol shows the very real difference this work makes. Individuals are helped and so too is the wider community”.

– Rev. Michaela Youngson
