“Street Pastors is about Christians rolling up their sleeves and getting involved in practically responding to the problems of crime and safety. They are like beacons on our streets and I want to see them shining brightly in every constituency.”

David Burrowes, Patron of Ascension Trust

Welcome to Eccles Street Pastors Website

We are part of a national team first pioneered in 2003, and Street Pastors continues to grow throughout the UK and across the world. Eccles Street Pastors started patrolling in March 2012.

Street Pastors are trained volunteers from local churches who care about our community. We are there to listen to, help and care for people who are out in Eccles and the surrounding areas during the evening.

We are out from around 7.30pm on the first and second Saturday nights every month and the third, fourth and fifth Friday nights, patrolling Eccles Town Centre, Patricroft and Monton until around 11pm.

If you are interested in finding out more about our work, or would like to know how to become a Street Pastor, please contact us using the details on this page.
