Last Saturday saw the Edinburgh Street Pastors take their first trip to the Royal Highland Show. We shared a tent with other church groups and had many great interactions.

The tent we were resident in had great placement at the show because we were really close to the entrance and exit.

We hope to return in future years, to serve the people of the Royal Highland Show, much the same as we serve the people of Edinburgh City Centre every Friday (and some Saturday) nights.

Many people stopped to listen to the talks by Colin and Lawrie and even more people stopped by for a chat and a coffee. We had offers to donate and people who had never heard of us and felt inspired to walk over and ask.

Towards the end of the day, we were excited to learn that, fellow stallholders @RareBreedGoats, favorited our tweet on the Edinburgh Street Pastor’s Twitter page!
