Elgin Street Pastors
Elgin Street Pastors, caring…for everyone without prejudice, listening….to everyone without judgement, helping….anyone in need.
We are Christian volunteers from different churches across Moray.
Every Saturday night in Elgin town centre from 10pm until 4am a team of Street Pastors will go out on patrol to serve the community by being a calming presence on the streets. We have time to listen, we show care in practical ways, such as giving flip flops to those who feet are sore and whose high heels are too high by the end of the night, bottles of water and of course lollipops! We help those who have become separated from friends by staying with them and helping them find their friends or another safe way home. We also carry basic First Aid, space blankets, beanie hats and shower ponchos.
