Our comprehensive training programme  is designed to fully equip new Street Pastors to respond to the needs of all the people with whom they engage on the streets. The training is mainly delivered in evening sessions during the Spring and Autumn. Our training will give you a full awareness of today’s social problems including drugs and youth culture.

Step 1    Contact Co-ordinator (John Darby) and arrange for a ‘coffee and a chat’
Step 2    Request, complete and submit an application form, including referees
Step 3    Invited to begin training
Step 4    Go out on patrol as an Observer/Trainee
Step 5    Attend and complete essential training sessions
Step 6    DBS clearance and references received
Step 7    Meet with Co-ordinator and one of the Leaders to review progress
Step 8    Pay contribution to training, uniform and equipment
Step 9    Newly-trained Street Pastor is appointed by Evesham Street Pastors management team.
Step 10   Uniform and equipment issued
Step 11   Commence operational duties
Step 12   Complete training sessions
Step 13   Commissioned at annual commissioning celebration service
