Our Volunteers

We CARE, LISTEN and HELP without condition or judgement.
The Street Pastors initiative is based on the story of the Good Samaritan in the Bible. He did not preach, but was a very practical man who did all he could to help when others walked by on the other side. We are told to go and do likewise.

On Patrol

STREET PASTORS patrol in small teams into the early hours at night in Falmouth. We provide flip-flops, water, fruit pastilles and support. Also first aid upon occasion.
We help with all sorts of problems from helping someone to call their friends, calling an ambulance or waiting with them if they are alone.
We are independent but we work closely with and are supported by the club and pub door staff, police, NHS and the local council.

Would you be able to give anything up to 12 nights per year to be a STREET PASTOR?

“Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labour in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.” (Psalm127:1)

This where prayer is needed:
• For an individual Street Pastor you know.
• For Falmouth Street Pastors in general and especially on the night when they are out.
• For the Ascension Trust, and Street Pastors all over the UK and the world.
PLUS – Every time a team of Street Pastors goes out, two PRAYER PASTORS remain back at base to pray. The Street Pastors are in regular phone contact with them. It is amazing how you see God answering our prayers, peace descends, and fights disperse.
