Report in from Derek M. Thought it was worth quoting
“We had a real sense of making a difference on the streets this Saturday / Sunday. We were all kept busy with the usual types of incidents. However, what struck me particularly was the spontaneous thanks all of us received from the public. We’ve been doing this for so long, I think this has perhaps lost its impact with us. Drunk or sober, people don’t need to take the time to come up and thank us for what we’re doing. This takes an act of will. Perhaps the greatest thing we can be doing for Jesus when we’re out is to be seen doing His will by those passing us by and watching what we’re doing. We have “Street Pastor” illuminated on our jackets. People will make the connection between what we’re doing and why we’re doing it.”
