The first, ever Street Pastors patrol was in Brixton in 2003.
Well over a decade later and we still have regular patrols in Brixton from Hootananny-Brixton Water Lane, right through central Brixton to Pop, the O2 Academy and the surrounding areas.
On Fridays, Clapham Methodist Church on Clapham High Street is transformed into the ‘Clapham Hub’.
In partnership with venue general managers and their door staff, hub volunteers, medics, wardens and police; the Street Pastors work to care for people enjoying the busy Clapham nightlife.
In 2018 the patrol was re-started in Streatham after a short break. The first patrol was led by Dawn the new team leader and our CEO Rev. Les Isaac.
Our committed team patrols once a month in Streatham.
Our latest addition to patrols has been Vauxhall and Southbank.
We have a dedicated team who patrol Vauxhall on the last Friday of the month and Southbank during the summer and at Christmas time.
We would like to say thank you to all the venues for their warm welcome and appreciation of the work we do.
If you have a passion to serve your community contact us we’d love to hear from you!
