We hope that this new year has begun safely for you. We made the decision mid- December to suspend our Saturday night patrols due to the increasing COVID rates and mindful of the guidance from the Government. We also recognised the need to ensure the safety of our volunteers. So although we were not out in the city in person we did continue to pray for the well being of the city. We hope to return to patrolling later in January as the cases reduce.

Despite that we did manage to be out for 2 saturdays in December and offered 35 volunteer hours. We welcomed John, an observer who had come out to see what Street Pastors is all about and we hope and pray that he will decide to join us. We collected 72 bottles which could have been used to cause serious injury. We had many, many conversations with those enjoying early Christmas celebrations.

The new year offers us some new relationships and partnerships to develop and we are keen to explore the many different ways our volunteers can contribute to the vibrancy of the city centre.

Come and join us!
