Dear Lord of all

Lent is a time when You invite us deeper into your world,

You call us to come alongside your people,

You ask us to commit to Your Lent.

We ask that we allow our prayers and thoughts to have an outward focus;

Seeking you in those we often ignore.

Help us live a Lent focused on helping, caring, and encountering Your people.

Make our  hearts eager to serve You and those who need what we have to give.
