Street Pastors are a team of Christians who go out on a Friday or Saturday night between the hours of 8.30pm and 1.30am. We are there to listen, care and help.
BUT
We do not go out in isolation. We are part of the many people who work in the city to keep people safe.
We work alongside the St John’s Ambulance who patrol our city one weekend a month offering First Aid support.
We are in partnership with the Police who are working to reduce criminal incidences in the city. To aid this partnership we carry City Watch radios which means we are in communication with the CCTVs in the city.
We help the city council with their campaign of encouraging people to drink responsibly by offering suggestions and advice as well as sign posting to other organisations.

WHY DO WE GO?????
Because
Jesus invites us to go to where his people are.
