This time of year is often represented by a period of waiting – ADVENT.
I wonder what you are waiting for on this run up to Christmas?
Is it seeing family?
Is it great food?
Is it partying the night away?
Is it presents?
It may be all those things and more. As Christians we are awaiting Jesus. Not the Jesus of the stable but the Jesus described in Revelation; the son of God who is all wisdom,love and compassion.
I wonder how that image affects your waiting?
