Street Pastor patrols in Manchester City Centre continue month by month. This is the faithful perseverance of building up a presence and growing relationships, assurance and integrity. Occasionally, we feature one here.

Last night there were lots of opportunities to chat, talk about faith and at one point to pray with a young man about his future. The team also met and engaged with a Polish man who has lost all his documentation and is clearly struggling sleeping on the streets (please keep him in your prayers).  Pray too for another man who was so spaced out on Spice he could barely stand and was slapped by a passing woman. Yet seemed to value the handshake he received off us as he held on as long as he could. On a night where there were not that many urgent situations that needed a response, the team also gave away pairs of flip flops to two very grateful females.

It was great to welcome two observers as they came out with the team. These are two of the people we have coming through to train as Street Pastors this year. We are so grateful to see new people join as it means we can patrol more often. There’s still room for more…
