On Friday 26 July 2013, Manchester South Street Pastors were joined by our Police Commissioner, Tony Lloyd and his newly appointed deputy, Jim Battle.
Both were curious to see the work we do in the student areas where there is a higher than average occurrence of crimes against the person as students are targeted by the local criminal fraternity. It was unfortunate that most of the students have now gone home for the summer but we were able to point out where the “hotspots” were and introduce them to some of the doormen. Both expressed an interest to come out with us again when the students have returned in September.
