131207 photo of patrol Market Harborough Street Pastors were commissioned at a service held at St Dionysius Church on Friday 24th April 2009. We currently have 18 Street Pastors and 7 Prayer Support Team members.

We have patrolled for nearly 500 hours, talked to / helped over 4000 people, removed over 400 bottles from the street and handed out over 100 flip flops and around 600 lollipops. Our Prayer Support Team is a vital part of the evening, providing prayer for the Street Pastors and those that they meet during the evening. We are now out, patrolling the streets of Harborough alternate Friday evenings from 7.30 pm and Saturday and Bank Holiday Sunday nights from 10.00 pm, with the aim to care, listen to and help anyone we meet. Although independent, we work closely with the local Police, Community Safety Partnership and Harborough District Council to help make Market Harborough safer at night.

We stop and chat to anyone we meet while providing a peaceful presence on the night-time streets.
