Is God calling you to be a Street Pastor or to join our Prayer team?

Commissioning Service of new Street Pastors 2023

IMPORTANT: So that you can pray and decide if these roles are for you we encourage potential recruits to join/attend the following before signing up to the training programme. If you have any issues please do not hesitate to contact our coordinators at the bottom of the page.

  • Join a Street Pastor team as an observer.
  • Attend a Roles and Responsibilities training day – We will arrange for you to attend a day as close as possible to Northampton organised by another Street Pastors group in the national network.   

Please be aware of these minimum requirements when committing to the training programme:

  • 18 years and older (no upper age limit)
  • Committed Christian for at least one year
  • Attending a local Church for at least one year
  • Have a positive reference from Church leader
  • Obtain a DBS certificate
  • Must be able to commit to serving as a Street Pastor for at least ONE Friday or Saturday night per month for ONE year
  • Prayer Pastors can either be at base or pray from home whilst a Street Pastor teams are out.

The Street Pastors training programme consists of a one day roles and responsibilities day (Saturday) and approximately 9 evening sessions. All our training sessions are held in Northampton, we can arrange for you to join another in a neighbouring area. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any queries or for further information.
