Financial Support

There are a number of ways that you can give to us:

***Online shopping sites***
Do you do any shopping online?  The ‘easyfundraising’ site enables you to give at no cost to you – the retailer where you bought the goods gives us a donation based on your shopping bill. The easyfundraising Donation Reminder ensures you never miss a chance to create a donation. Full details and FAQs can be found at:
www.easyfundraising.org.uk

Similarly, ‘givingabit’ prompts the retailer to donate. It includes a ‘forgetmenot’ widget which lets you know when you could create a donation – without having to remember to visit the shops from givingabit.com.

‘Give as you live’ follows the same principles and can be found at:

Home Collection Boxes
Always trying to get rid of small change that weighs you down? We now have home collection boxes – an easy way to save loose change. If you would like to support us in this way, just drop us an email or give us a call and we will send you one!

Make a donation online
By clicking on the link below you will be redirected to The Big Give.  Here you will be able to make a secure donation on line.  The Big Give will claim the Gift Aid (if you are a tax payer) and pass on the donation and Gift Aid to us.

If you would like to donate by cheque please email or telephone and we can give you an address to use. Contact Us.

Give As You Earn
If you receive a salary or pension by PAYE, you can give directly from your pre-tax salary. That means you don’t pay any tax on the donations you make.
Talk to your employer or contact the Charities Aid Foundation.

Give the gift of giving
Open a Charities Trust My Giving Account as a gift for a family member or friend and introduce them to giving to charity.  Details available at:
http://www.mygivingaccount.co.uk/

Donate non-cash gifts
Donations of stocks, shares and some other investments are exempt from capital gains tax, and you could reduce your taxable income by the value of the gift.  You can also give land, property or works of art.  Talk to your accountant or contact the Charities Aid Foundation.

Leave a legacy
Leaving us a gift in your will helps us to continue changing lives long into the future.  It’s easy to do and your gift will be exempt from inheritance tax.  Make sure you include our Charity Number on the will document: 1140515.  Talk to your solicitor or the Charities Aid Foundation.  If you do leave to us in your will, please let us know so we can thank you.

Registered Charity Number: 1140515.

However you choose to donate, please accept our sincere thanks.
