I was reading about the Israelites entering the promised land, where God, through Moses, says to Israel, “Don’t be afraid or discouraged” – as we know this is repeated several times throughout scripture.

I got to thinking about why that was said and realised that Fear and Discouragement are two of the enemy’s most commonly used weapons; so if, especially just before a patrol, you’re feeling fearful or discouraged; be encouraged – if you’re under attack you must be doing something right or good, or be about to be, for the Lord, as His kingdom extends through the city!

Have a read of / listen to some of the following and be blessed!
