Street Pastors Rotherham joined with Barnsley, Doncaster and Sheffield to run a very comprehensive training course, looking at things like ‘Street Safety’, ‘Substance abuse’, ‘Good news’, ‘Know your community’ and many more.

Why not come out as an observer one night? contact us and we can arrange a date for you to come out to see what really happens on a night on the street in Rotherham.

This is the criteria to becoming a Street Pastor:

  • You must be 18 or over;
  • A Christian, committed to a local church for at least a year;
  • Undergo a DBS check;
  • Reference from your minister or church leader;
  • Concerned for society and our local community;
  • Willing to engage with people, whatever their perspective on life and wherever they hang out;
  • Happy to work in a team and in collaboration with other agencies and projects, both statutory and voluntary.
