A big thank you to Banks Methodist church who provided us with some savoury rolls that were given to and appreciated by our local “homeless”. We were also able to provide coffee and chocolate biscuits which went down well.
We had some excellent conversations with people including a policeman who was appreciative of our efforts and 2 ladies who were thrilled with their new flip flops! We also met a young man who was very interested in meeting up later this week to discuss getting involved.
Please pray for JB, a vulnerable older man, who we “rescued”, after he had been left in charge of a coat and 2 sleeping bags. We had the privilege of reuniting the items with their owner later in the evening.
The verse of the night was Genesis 28 v 16 “Surely the Lord
is in this place, and I was not aware of it.”
