On Sat 11th December’s patrol, it was great that Safebase Scotland were patrolling the streets as well. They have experienced first aiders ready to help as well as direct links with the Scottish Ambulance Service so it’s brilliant the town will have this extra resource available when they are on duty.
It’s also a great help to us when we have a possible serious injury or ambulance case, and we can contact them to help. They also have plenty of other incidents they come across on their own patrols. We’re all working together with the Police, the Door Staff, the Taxi Marshalls and the Council to make Stirling’s night life safer and to help with the wellbeing of all we meet.
Safebase have been operating in Falkirk for some time, and are now setting up to operate in Stirling too after a pilot was succesful.
