The work of Street Pastors in Stirling was celebrated during October at many our supporting churches. This was to tie in with our Annual Conference which was held at Stirling Baptist Church at the start of October.
Street Pastors at their own local or neighbouring churches took part at Sunday services by talking to congregations, being presented with a certificate of service and being included in prayers.
The main focus of these events was to look for more volunteers to join this happy family and serve the people of Stirling either on Friday or Saturday evenings in town, or Friday afternoons on the University campus. We only ask that each Street Pastor patrols once per month, and all the current volunteers say it’s very rewarding for themselves as well as a huge benefit for all those we help. It’s not unusual for someone on the street to come up to a team and say “You saved my life when you helped me!”.
Training for new recruits will begin early in 2026 so get in touch now!
There are over 60 churches in our area, and we would love to come along to your service or other meetings to spread the word. 12 churches took part in October – City of God For All Nations, St Mark’s, St Ninians, Strathendrick Baptist, Stirling Vineyard, Stirling Methodist, Destiny Stirling, Stirling North Parish, St Mary’s, Holy Spirit, St Margaret’s and Park Church.
