This evening is dedicated to celebrating and helping local charities and good causes and recognising those who these organisations exist to support. The event is also intended to acknowledge and reward the dedication of those who work tirelessly in support of their chosen cause.

Warwickshire Police and West Mercia Police Economic Crime Unit and the Warwickshire Police and Crime Commissioner are proud to have acted innovatively and decisively in directly removing £131,317.00 from the criminal economy.

In the sprint of 2014, Warwickshire Police took over the title of a house which an investigation showed had originally been purchased with the proceeds of crime. The property was auctioned during the late summer and the proceeds of that sale were donated to local charities and causes.

We, along with our fellow Street Pastors in Leamington Spa and Nuneaton, were grateful to receive an award of £1000 which we will be using for recruitment and long term operational costs. This also helps us to continue to provide our much loved flip flips and lollipops.
