We are resuming patrols again to care for, to listen to and to help our community in Stratford-upon-Avon!

It’s been a while and things are still changing, not only with restrictions but which venues are re-opening and when.

The teams will be carrying CitizenAID leaflets which give advice on how to to save lives in the case of deliberate attacks, such as explosions, shootings and knife attacks. These are simple actions that can save lives in the immediate aftermath of an incident: e.g. what to do if someone isn’t breathing, how to stop severe bleeding, coping with broken bones and dealing with burns.

Pocket guide for public actions in a deliberate attack

Unfortunately, we have had a few members of our teams leave. We will miss you! However we are still able to continue and we will respond to the changes as they come along. We are still following guidelines so unfortunately still no lollipops, as yet, and we shall be maintaining social distancing etc. which I think we’re all used to now!

We’re really looking forward to being out in our town and meeting people and catching up with those we know. So, if you see us, then please come on over and have a socially distanced chat!
