Last Monday the Wandsworth Town street Pastors went out on patrol on a lovely sunny afternoon. Janice, Bill and Libby walked through the park, which had a slightly larger than usual sprinkling of children and parents using the play area. The bus stop outside Southfields College was as busy as ever and the team helped to manage children getting onto the bus and cleared space on the pavement if passer-bys needed to get through. As the team returned through the park they became aware on an incident outside the job centre of someone exposing themselves. Thankfully the individual stopped and it passed without any commotion. On returning to the Ram Street base they prayed for this individual and agreed that a street Pastor presence in the park is very important especially as the weather gets better and people start to gather there. The next patrol will take place on April 2nd and with schools broken up, the park will be more of a focus.
