Last Saturday Wayne Mcintosh, David Wilson and Madaleine Theobald graduated at a ceremony held in St Anne’s Church, Limehouse. The church was full and about 100 other street pastors from boroughs across London were also there to graduate. Wandsworth being “W” meant our team had to wait till near the end of the ceremony to go up, but the wait was worth it. Afterwards the national street pastors dinner was held at the International Britannia Hotel in Docklands. This was also well attended with something qround 150 people there. The Police Commissioner of Somerset was the main speaker and we heard many encouraging stories from street teams around the country. Les Isaac also gave an overview of the Street Pastor work both nationally and internationally. One thing that stayed in my mind from the evening was the power that Street Pastors has in bringing together the church as a whole in a united and practical way of working together. It was great to meet other Christians from other teams and share in food and fellwoship. Check out the gallery for photos that will be uploaded.
