Yeovil Street Pastors

Yeovil Street Pastors welcomes you to this website where you will find information about us and how you can join our team.

We started patrolling the town centre streets of Yeovil in 2009, as part of a national team first pioneered in 2003, and Street Pastors continues to grow across the UK and the world.

We are an inter-denominational Church response to urban problems, engaging with people on the streets to care, listen and dialogue.  We are volunteers from Christian congregations working as a team to be a caring presence and a listening ear to people who may need it, helping people to stay safe whilst they are out on Saturday nights.  We care for our community.

Whilst the Street Pastors are patrolling the streets, there are also those back at base called Prayer Pastors, who provide prayer support.  The Street Pastors do not go onto the streets without sustained prayer.
