We are a joint church initiative in Yeovil and the surrounding area.  All our Street Pastors and Prayer Pastors come from local churches with the support of their church and a reference from a member of their church leadership.

You will be invited to join the team on patrol one night as an Observer before making a formal application. There is always paperwork to be completed and all applicants will also need to carry out  a DBS check.

There is a training programme to be completed prior to joining the Street Pastors on patrol with typical subjects as follows:

• Roles & Responsibilities
• The Good News
• Safeguarding
• Knowing Your Community

At some point you will be interviewed, and your uniform will be ordered, along with your Street Pastor ID card.  There will also be a Commissioning Service where we will celebrate you completing your training and where you will formally become a Street Pastor.
