Friday night:
• Had a conversation with a group of young men some on bikes some walking we gave them lollies and water
• Liaised with CCTV about a stolen bike which we found abandoned.
• There was an ambulance stopped in the town centre and we spoke to the paramedics who were assessing a patient
• We spoke to several individuals who were homeless and hungry we were able to provide them with hot food and drinks. We were able to signpost them to the other agencies who might be able to them.
• Good conversation had with a group that were returning from a birthday party.
• Lots of broken bottles about in town tonight which were swept up and disposed of.

Saturday daytime:
· Kettering had a gentle buzz, getting busier as we prepared to leave at 12:00.
· Spoke to a mother and son near the bus stops, both have experienced bereavements recently. They spoke to us about personal difficulties they are experiencing and the effect it is having on their life.
· The food bank continues to be busy, spoke with a driver and explained at length what we do as Street Pastors.
· We visited The Shack, they looked quite busy
· We popped our heads into Millingtons, they follow our pages and asked a little about what we do.
· We met with a couple who were expecting a baby soon. The man spoke of exciting work opportunities and about his family.
· We spoke to a man who had bought a coffee for the Big Issue seller and made sure she was ok.
Saturday night:
· Spoke to a few women on their own, all going back to meet friends.
· Spoke with two ladies who were very keen to learn more about Street Pastors and said they would like to join the team. They were given cards and encouraged to contact Street Pastors after the night out.
· Met someone who was 90 days free of drugs who asked Street Pastors to accompany them to meet friends.
· Met a group of lads and had a reminiscence of the ‘good old days’ in Kettering as they recognised one of the Street Pastors from 25/30 years ago.
· Met a new rough sleeper in Kettering. Provided him with clothes to keep warm and encouraged him to report to the council Monday morning.
· Provided another rough sleeper with a sleeping bag and some food. He was very thankful that Street Pastors prayed with him in the street.
· Met a group of girls who were concerned about a friend’s mental health. The police had already been called and they took control of the situation. Prayers were said by our team for a positive outcome.
· Sat with a girl at the bus stop who had not been allowed into one of the venues and had lost her belongings. One of her friends came and took her home in the taxi.
· A very wet night after midnight, most people staying inside the venues.
