To be eligable to train as a Street Pastor, you need to be over 18 years of age, be in regular attendance at your church for at least one year, be able to provide a reference from your Minister/Vicar, get DBS clearance and have the time and energy to commit to training and patrols.
Currently the training involves a minimum of 36 hours in the classroom and 6 hours minimum for two supervised patrols.
