Keeping all people safe so that they can enjoy the city at night is one of our aims. This September saw us continuing to give out spikeys and foil lids to protect drinks from anything being added to them. This has been very important as the city is experiencing a large influx of young people who are joining the universities. Many of whom have never lived away from home before. We are out on a Saturday night offering advice and support.
However, for this work to continue we need some new volunteers; indeed this is a matter of great urgency. Unless we can secure some new recruits before April 2024 we will be forced to review what we do.
