Manchester City Centre
The Church on the streets of Manchester City CentreOur Street Pastors team has been patrolling in Manchester’s Piccadilly area since 2011, listening, caring and helping. An estimated 100,000 visit the city centre every weekend. Most do so safely, but there are incidents and accidents, which are often preventable.
Street Pastors, together with teams of Village Angels and Street Angels, have been recognised as making a significant contribution to ensuring the welfare of people on the streets of Manchester at night.
Check out the pages to find out more about what we do, ways in which you could help or join in and see some photos of the team in action.
Jesus “went around doing good” – we’re trying to do the same.
We are grateful for the support of many – practical and prayerful – including The Big Lottery and Greater Manchester Police and Crime Commissioner’s office.
Manchester City Centre Street Pastors is a Registered Charity no. 1177357
