FAQ’s

What are the requirements?

As a faith-based organisation, all our volunteers are committed Christians and invested in a local church. You must be over 18 years old and friendly!

How often will I volunteer?

We ask that volunteers commit to one shift per month for at least one year. Whether it’s a Friday or Saturday, that’s up to you! Volunteers are usually allocated to a set week in the month meaning you get to know a smaller team really well.

What time do you go out?

We meet at 9:30pm to brief and prepare ourselves before heading out at about 10pm until around 3am with of course a break in the middle!

Do I get training?

Absolutely! From drug and alcohol awareness training to listening skills and basic first aid, we provide a full programme of training to equip you with the skills to be a great Street Pastor.

Is there a uniform?

Indeed. While you are a Street Pastor volunteer, you will be supplied with full Street Pastor Uniform, topped off with a beanie hat for those cold nights on shift.
