Rhondda Cynon Taff, the local Police and local churches are setting up a Street Pastors Scheme in Pontypridd, to start in October 2012.  This will involve teams of Christians going out on the streets on a Friday or Saturday night (yet to be decided) on a rota basis, to be a support/help to any vulnerable people.

We are excited about this opportunity to serve and witness to our local community in this way. A team of volunteers have been attending training sessions in preparation. On Friday 19th October there will be a commissioning service for the volunteers at 8pm at Temple Baptist Church.
