How to Help

There are several ways you can help us, if you think you can help in any of these ways please get in contact with us.

Donation of water
As part of what we do we are giving out water to people, we need donations of bottles of water to sustain this. We have had donations from The Cooperative, Iceland and Sainsburys so far.

Fund raise
We rely on donations to keep our work going, so please let us know if you are able to raise funds for us.

Invite a speaker
If you are part of a Church or organisation you could invite someone from Ponty Street Pastors to come and speak so you can find out more about our work.

Become a Prayer Pastor
Prayer is an important part of our work, without it we believe we couldn’t do what we do. We have a team of people at our base praying for the Street Pastors while they are out on patrol. To become a  Prayer Pastor you need to be a committed church member, over 18 and able to commit to roughly one shift a month.

Become a Street Pastor
If you think you would like to help us be ‘the Church in action on the streets’ by being a Street Pastor then you need to be a committed church member, over 18, able to commit to roughly one shift a month and be able to attend the training programme.

Donating money
If you want to donate money to Pontypridd Street pastors send cash or cheques to Pontypridd Street Pastors, c/o Temple Baptist Church, Gelliwastad Rd, CF37 2BP. We hope to enable people to give online or via text message soon!
